Grenade 03:10
I feel like a grenade that’s ready to blow Everything around me is not what I know I’m looking for guidance, tell me where do I go? Before I lose control One look from him I could feel my heart racing again All I can hear are those three words that he never said The thoughts go round in my head I feel like a grenade that’s ready to blow Everything around me is not what I know I’m looking for guidance, tell me where do I go? Before I lose control As I look ahead It just seems like a dead end Here I am again I wish I didn’t have to pretend The thoughts go round in my head I feel like a grenade that’s ready to blow Everything around me is not what I know I’m looking for guidance, tell me where do I go? Before I lose control Maybe I’m failing I should be praying for myself There’s no escaping That I am breaking from this spell I feel like a grenade that’s ready to blow Everything around me is not what I know I’m looking for guidance, tell me where do I go? Before I lose control

I’m not afraid to roll the dice In this game our life’s become You had the chance to make it right But still that is not enough So why do we find ourselves coming back for more Like we did before Running on adrenaline ‘til we hit the floor But why can you not see? Life is learning curve, you get back up when you get hurt But I want you to myself No matter what I try, I just can’t seem to say goodbye Cause I don’t want anyone else You know you’re driving me insane But I knew this all along Confiding everything that’s going through my brain But I guess that I was wrong So why do we find ourselves coming back for more Ignoring all your flaws Oh, you’ve got a lot to answer for Why can you not see? Life is learning curve, you get back up when you get hurt But it’s time to realise No matter what I do, I just can’t say goodbye to you But you’re still hurting everyone else You only think of yourself I’m not changing, when you’re the one who needs to change I tried so hard to stay But you’re pushing me away Life is learning curve, you get back up when you get hurt But I want you to myself No matter what I try, I just can’t seem to say goodbye Cause I don’t want anyone else Life is learning curve, you get back up when you get hurt But it’s time to realise No matter what I do, I just can’t say goodbye to you But you’re still hurting everyone else

Better Days 03:07
You loved her yesterday But tomorrow never came She walks these streets all on her own You kissed her yesterday But you’ve seen better days And she’s still standing in that pouring rain She’s happy with the rainbows Spreading love under every other sunset She’s happy with the rainbows tonight You saw her yesterday And you heard her say “We were born to get away” You held her yesterday And you shared her pain Hoping you would both get swept away But it’s too late, it’s too late The wheel of life stops turning It’s too late to hope for better days But it’s too late, it’s too late The wheel of life stops turning It’s too late to hope for better days You dreamt of her today But it came too late Memories are all you’ll ever have Then you realised today That without her, you’ll never be the same She’s happy with the rainbows Spreading love under every other sunset She’s happy with the rainbows tonight

Another Day 02:40
It's just another day In this town that I call home Where the people never change and we're all scared of growing old Another day Another smile, another wave To the faces we all know But what we don't know is their names Why do we do this to ourselves? Living imaginary lives left on the shelf Fake smiles and laughs out on the streets But behind closed doors you'll wish you didn't meet It's another day As the sun begins to rise The kids will walk to school and we all get on with our lives Another day Another boring anecdote From the man who serves me coffee I pretend to like his jokes Why do we do this to ourselves? Living imaginary lives left on the shelf Fake smiles and laughs out on the streets But behind closed doors you'll wish you didn't meet It's just another day In this town that I call home Where the people never change and we're all scared of growing old Another day Another face we recognise This town will live forever No this town will never die

Summer 03:28
The sun is up The sky is blue The birds are singing like they’re talking to you You feel the warmth upon your skin A brand new day is about to begin Everyone is nicer now The days are so much brighter In the summer You’re never feeling down You wait all year for these months to come around You spend all day laughing with your friends You hope this summer never ends Laying on the warmest sand The world you live in is a wonderland All your cares have disappeared You have no worries now that summer is here The sunshine on your skin What more could you ask for? In the summer The days are full of light Everything you do it just feels right You’re happy and you don’t have to pretend You hope this summer will never end Just a few more months ‘til it arrives And when it comes you know that you’ll be feeling so alive Staying in those never-ending nights While the world just passes you by In the summer The days are full of light Everything you do it just feels right You’re happy and you don’t have to pretend You hope this summer will never end
